You’ve seen the various videos highlighting the impressive durability of the HONOR X9c 5G. Now, HONOR has shared the secrets behind the phone’s exceptional toughness.
According to the brand, the soon-to-launch HONOR X9c 5G has an “All-Angle Triple Defense,” which makes the phone not just drop-resistant, but water and heat-resistant as well.
The HONOR X9c 5G boasts top-of-the-line protection with back-to-back Super Double Tempered Glass. This means that the same glass material covering the screen also protects the camera module. This translates to 360-degree drop protection for up to two meters and the ability to survive drops on various surfaces like marble, cobblestone, gravel, and asphalt.
To further enhance drop protection, HONOR has incorporated a special shock-absorbing material between the screen and the middle frame. This innovative design effectively reduces the impact force on the screen from the phone’s internal components.
The HONOR X9c 5G also utilizes a 3-layer water-resistant structure to safeguard it from the elements. The first layer features an upgraded LIM (Liquid Injection Molding) rubber ring for external leakage protection around the side key port, speaker hole, and card tray hole.
The second layer focuses on interface protection, with a USB rubber sleeve featuring a double-sealing design and a card holder with specially designed pinholes to minimize water ingress.
Finally, the third layer provides board-level and software protection, including BTB protection with added foam and waterproof detection with software support.
