In Sony’s latest superhero origin story, Madame Web, Dakota Johnson takes on the role of Cassandra Webb, a clairvoyant New York paramedic.
Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women—portrayed by Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced—who are destined for powerful futures. That is, if they can all survive a deadly present, including a Spider-Man-like villain hellbent on killing them.
The film, directed by SJ Clarkson, also stars Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott.
Coming soon in cinemas, Madame Web is distributed in the Philippines by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
