As scheduled, vivo has launched its #NightPortraitMaster, the vivo V25 series. The series—composed of the V25 Pro, V25, and V25e—features a 64MP OIS camera, stunning color-changing capability, and other noteworthy specs essential to Gen Zs and millennials.
The vivo V25 series uses Photochromic 2.0, a color-changing innovation that uses light molecular material, which changes colors when exposed to sunlight or UV light.
The vivo V25 Pro in Surfing Blue and the V25 and V25e in Sunrise Gold all change color when exposed to light. For those who prefer an understated but still elegant color, the V25 Pro also comes in Starlight Black, while the vivo V25 and V25e are available in Diamond Black.
Enhanced night photography
The vivo V25 series comes with upgraded camera hardware and capabilities designed for nighttime shooting.
The top-spec vivo V25 Pro offers a 64MP OIS ultra-sensing rear camera with extreme night vision with optical image stabilization to give you clearer and steadier photos and videos. There’s also an 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro shooter at the back.
Housed in the pinhole on the top center of the display is a 32MP Eye AF Selfie camera with eye autofocus. This, along with AI HD Algorithm, improves the clarity and quality of your selfies. Meanwhile, 4K video and natural portrait enable face beauty filters like skin polish and skin tone adjustment. Other features include Multi-Style Portrait, Motion Blur, Vlog Movie, Beauty Mode, and Portrait Mode so you can capture photos and videos like a pro.
The V25 Pro also boasts night photography capabilities, including Super Night Portrait and Super Night Video, which guarantee crisp, bright, and clear stills and videos even when it’s dark.
The vivo V25 and the vivo V25e are also equipped with the same 64MP OIS ultra-sensing main camera. The vivo V25e gets the same selfie cam as the Pro, while the V25 comes with a 50MP front camera.
Powerful performance
Aside from its camera prowess, the vivo V25 series also boasts of powerful performance.
The vivo V25 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The V25 and V25e, on the other hand, are equipped with Dimensity 900 and Helio G99, respectively. Both have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
All phones in the V25 series carry the extended RAM 3.0, which adds up to 8GB more RAM for a faster and smoother performance.
As for battery, the V25 Pro gets a 4830mAh battery with 66W Fast Charge, while the V25 and V25e get a 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
