At MWC Barcelona 2026, vivo offered a first look at its upcoming flagship smartphone, the vivo X300 Ultra—and it’s clearly built with photography lovers in mind.
The top-tier imaging flagship features powerful new zoom system, headlined by the 400mm-equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra. The lens is designed for users who want DSLR-like reach straight from their phones. Co-engineered with ZEISS, it supports up to 200MP optical output and can push as far as a 1600mm digital crop, while still maintaining impressive clarity.

To help keep those long-range shots steady, the X300 Ultra features advanced gimbal-grade optical image stabilization and motion-tracking focus technology. The result is smoother zoomed-in photos and more stable telephoto video, even when shooting handheld.
For creators who want to take things further, vivo also introduced a pro-grade Camera Cage designed specifically for the device. The accessory includes cold shoe mounts for microphones or lights, dual-hand grips for added stability, dedicated shutter and zoom buttons, and even a built-in cooling fan for extended recording sessions.

vivo confirmed that its most advanced X-series Ultra model will launch globally later this year.
