Five college students have been named the inaugural members of vivo Philippines’ GEN V Campus Ambassador Program, marking the launch of the smartphone brand’s first nationwide initiative to empower student leaders and digital creators.
Announced during the grand finals held on July 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, the program recognizes students who demonstrated leadership, creativity, communication skills, and a passion for community engagement.
The initiative aims to strengthen vivo’s connection with campus communities while giving students hands-on experience in branding and marketing.
The inaugural GEN V Campus Ambassadors are Rhea Mea T. Parcon of World Citi Colleges, Beverly I. Cantos of Mapúa University, John Brent Domaya of Centro Escolar University Manila, and Jerah Bernard L. Eusebio and Icen Rose Vivo, both from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
The five emerged from a pool of finalists selected through a series of auditions held across Metro Manila, where they showcased their talents and shared how they would use digital platforms to inspire and engage fellow students.
According to vivo Philippines, the ambassadors will officially begin their one-year term on August 1, receiving monthly allowances, mentorship from the company’s marketing team, and opportunities to participate in product launches, campaigns, and major brand events. Outstanding ambassadors may also qualify for internship, employment, or international learning opportunities.
Through the GEN V Campus Ambassador Program, vivo Philippines hopes to cultivate the next generation of student leaders while providing practical experience in digital marketing, branding, and community engagement.
