TVS Motor Company showcased its premium electric scooter, the TVS iQube S, at the recently concluded Makina Moto Show in Manila.
The TVS iQube S is powered by a 4.6kW motor that gives a top speed of 78kph and accelerates from 0-40 in just 4.2 seconds.
It comes with two in-house-manufactured lithium-ion battery packs with a total capacity of 3.4kWh, providing a real-world range of 100km per charge. The EV powertrain is IP67 compliant, which means it is water- and dust-resistant.
The e-scooter includes a 650W portable charger with a charging time of 4.5 hours from 0-80% SOC, making home charging convenient and affordable with any 5Amp household socket.
The TVS iQube S is available in five colors and features powerful LED headlamps with bright hazard lights, a 7-inch TFT cluster with a user-friendly 5-way joystick, a 32-liter underseat storage, a wide floorboard, and baggage hooks.
The TVS SMARTXONNECTTM platform offers an advanced navigation system, telematics unit, anti-theft, geofencing, and crash/fall alert features. Any smartphone can be linked to the vehicle via the dedicated TVS Connect app, which displays real-time battery status and ride statistics, and enables music control while riding.
The iQube S also has Amazon Alexa onboard, allowing users to use voice commands to access information. The platform ensures 100% vehicle wellness with proactive diagnosis and timely service alerts on the dashboard, including incoming calls, SMS, and social media app notifications.
The TVS iQube S is priced at P180,000.
