Global digital business services leader TP in the Philippines is expanding its footprint with the opening of its 29th site in the country.
Located at Four E-Com Center within the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City, the new operations hub is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs for Filipinos.
The new facility is TP’s second site in Pasay, complementing its existing operations at the MAAX Building, which currently houses more than 5,000 TP customer experts. The new hub will support the company’s growing global clientele as businesses increasingly turn to a combination of human expertise, digital capabilities, and artificial intelligence (AI) to handle more complex operations.
The expansion comes as AI continues to reshape the global outsourcing industry. A recent analysis from HSBC Global Investment Research found that the expected AI-driven decline of the Philippine outsourcing sector has not materialized, with business-services exports and employment continuing to grow. AI, meanwhile, could improve productivity, quality control, and remote service delivery.

The trend is also reflected locally. According to the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), the Philippine IT-BPM industry generated approximately US$40.3 billion in revenue and employed 1.89 million people in 2025. The country’s share of global IT-BPM services headcount also increased from 15% in 2022 to 17% in 2025.

For TP, the shift means combining Filipino talent with AI and technology to take on increasingly complex work. As routine tasks become more automated, human employees can focus more on problem-solving, customer relationships, specialized expertise, and overseeing AI-enabled workflows.
TP has operated in the Philippines for 30 years and now employs approximately 60,000 people across Metro Manila and regional hubs in Cebu, Bacolod, Baguio, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Laoag, and General Santos.
