
Thousands of automotive enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and prospective car buyers flocked to the World Trade Center Metro Manila to attend the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) from June 4 to 7.
Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), this year’s milestone edition carried the theme “Forward in Every Drive,” reflecting the industry’s push toward smarter, more efficient, and increasingly electrified transportation solutions for Filipino consumers.
During his keynote speech, guest of honor Patrick Aquino, Director of the Department of Energy’s Energy Utilization and Management Bureau, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector in advancing the country’s mobility landscape.
“This year’s theme, ‘Forward in Every Drive,’ appropriately captures the direction in which the mobility sector is moving: toward innovation, greater efficiency, and smarter approaches to meeting the country’s growing transportation needs,” he said.
The four-day exhibition featured 17 automotive brands, many of which used the event to launch new vehicles or preview upcoming models for the Philippine market.
Electrification emerged as a dominant theme across the show floor. Suzuki introduced the all-new e VITARA, while Nissan launched the All-New X-Trail e-POWER and previewed the All-New Kicks e-POWER, Navara Pro Plug-in Hybrid, and Primera EV.


Mitsubishi unveiled the All-New Outlander PHEV and launched the New XFORCE GLX, while MG launched a lineup that included the RX9 PHEV, MG4 Urban, and HS PHEV.


Toyota drew attention with the premiere of the All-New Land Cruiser FJ, All-New Hilux, New Land Cruiser HEV, while Honda launched its new logo and previewed its e:HEV lineup, Honda City, and electrified motorcycles.


Subaru expanded its electrified offerings with the Crosstrek e-BOXER Hybrid, while Kia had a special preview teaser of the Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid, and confirmed that the Kia EV3 and Kia PV are slated for their official Philippine debuts soon.


Isuzu featured the New 2026 D-MAX, mu-X, and TRAVIZ, while Jetour previewed the T1, T2, and X70, as well as the GAIA G700. Chery, on the other hand, offered a sneak preview of the all-new Chery QEV Smart EV Cruiser.



Omoda & Jaecoo showcased the J5 SHS Hybrid, J5 EV, J7 PHEV, J8 PHEV, and EJ6 EV, while BAIC featured the B60e Beaumont rEV, B40e Pro Trailmaster rEV, and B30e Dune Hybrid.


Geely revealed the selling price of the upcoming EX2 ahead of its official launch and opened reservations for interested buyers.

FOTON presented a broad lineup of electric commercial vehicles, including the Traveller Sierra EV and the fully electric Coach EV bus. VinFast displayed the Limo Green, Herio Green, and VF 3, and launched its RENTAPASADA program designed to provide flexible access to EVs and income opportunities through the Green GSM platform.


Tesla, on the other hand, announced that its vehicles can now be equipped with Grok AI. Grok acts as a digital companion for Tesla drivers, assisting with trip planning, reminders, information requests, and real-time traffic and weather updates.

The show’s aftermarket and lifestyle section also attracted attendees with exhibits featuring car accessories, maintenance products, performance upgrades, and technology solutions.
Adding to the excitement were event-exclusive discounts, financing packages, and test-drive opportunities, giving visitors a chance to experience new models firsthand.
