Tesla has officially entered the Philippine market, opening its first Tesla Experience Center at Uptown Parade in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The Tesla Experience Center is designed as a one-stop hub, streamlining the customer experience with services ranging from sales and delivery to support. In addition to showcasing Tesla’s latest technology, the Tesla flagship store will enable Philippine customers to experience the brand’s electric vehicles firsthand and access dedicated support throughout their ownership journey.

The first two models on offer are the Model 3 and the Model Y. The public can now experience both vehicles at an exclusive pop-up in Uptown Mall (Level 1 Atrium) until 15 November. Customers can also experience these two vehicles in the Tesla Experience Center.

The Model 3, crowned the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023, is available in three trims in the Philippines.

The entry-level Rear-Wheel Drive variant, priced at P2,109,000, offers up to 513km of range, while the Long Range model, priced at P2,489,000, comes with an 82kWh battery, providing an extended range of up to 629km. Both have a top speed of 201 kph.

At the top of the lineup is the dual-motor Performance variant, priced at P3,099,000. It features a range of 528km, accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 3.1 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 262 kph.

Like the Model 3, the Model Y is available in three trims.

The Rear-Wheel Drive, priced at P2,369,000, delivers up to 455km of range from its 60kWh battery, reaches a top speed of 217kph, and accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 6.9 seconds.

The Long Range model, priced at P2,689,000, extends the range to 533km with its 81 kWh battery and accelerates from 0-100 in 5 seconds.

The Performance variant, available for P3,299,000, offers a range of 514km, while pushing the top speed to 250kph and reaching 0-100 kph in just 3.7 seconds.

The Tesla Design Studio will also be available in the Philippines. Through this platform, customers can customize their vehicles with options for both the exterior and interior. Tesla will begin delivering the first vehicles to customers in early 2025.

Tesla is enhancing the ownership experience with a Supercharging network. The country’s first indoor Supercharger station, featuring four fast-charging units, will open soon at Uptown Mall. These deliver up to 250kW, adding about 120km of range in just five minutes for vehicles like the Model Y. Charging will be pay-per-use at P19 per kWh, with a full charge estimated at P1,140.

Tesla also plans to expand Supercharging stations across key locations nationwide.
