TECNO’s latest mid-range smartphone, the POVA Curve 2 5G, is now official in the Philippines with a strong focus on battery life, portability, and connectivity.
The smartphone features a massive 8000mAh battery inside a slim 7.42mm curved-body frame. Even with the large battery, the device remains relatively lightweight at 195g.
According to TECNO, the battery can last up to three days on a single charge, offering up to 103.4 hours of music playback, 33.8 hours of navigation, or 18.8 hours of gaming. The device also supports 45W fast charging, which juices up the battery to 50% in just 36 minutes.

For gamers and heavy users, the POVA Curve 2 5G introduces Bypass Charging 2.0, which allows the phone to draw power directly from the charger rather than cycling through the battery. This reduces heat buildup during extended gaming sessions and extends long-term battery health. The phone also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other devices when needed.
To address connectivity issues in signal-challenged environments, the POVA Curve 2 5G is equipped with TECNO’s in-house G1 signal enhancement chipset and SE1 Wi-Fi enhancement chipset alongside the advanced UPS 3.0 signal optimization algorithm for improved network stability and wireless performance.
The smartphone is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor and features a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. Other features include a 50MP main camera, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, IP64 dust and splash resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, FreeLink 2.0 offline communication within 1.5km, and HiOS 16 based on Android 16.

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is available in Mystic Purple, Melting Silver, and Storm Titanium for P16,999 with 16GB RAM + 256GB storage (8GB extended RAM). Purchases also come bundled with a TECNO Gift Box and a Globe Customized 5G SIM with UNLI5G and free data for one year.
