TCL is expanding its partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority through the second batch of its specialized HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) training program, aimed at preparing aspiring technicians for careers in refrigeration and air-conditioning services.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural run, the updated 2026 program now features a longer and more immersive curriculum focused on the installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic refrigeration and air-conditioning units. Unlike the previous lecture-heavy format, this year’s initiative combines technical discussions with intensive hands-on training designed to strengthen real-world industry skills.

“As we envisioned, this session provides aspiring technicians with the essential tools and practical experience they need to succeed in today’s competitive landscape. By focusing on real-world skills and industry-standard technology, TCL is dedicated to transforming learners into professionals who will strengthen our workforce and lead the future of the industry,” said Joseph Cernitchez, TCL brand manager.

The second installment of the TCL Training Program welcomed 25 trainees at the TCL-TESDA Center located inside the flagship TESDA RTC-NCR facility. Over three days, participants underwent both classroom instruction and practical exercises covering core HVAC competencies.

TCL’s Product and Service teams also joined the sessions to provide technical expertise and hands-on guidance, including training on TCL-specific technologies such as the TCL Home App and Voice Command features.

The program concluded with a formal evaluation and mini job fair conducted alongside TCL partner dealer Firstar, led by Pika Lee. Participants also received certifications validating their training, which TCL says can help open employment opportunities across authorized service centers nationwide.
