Suzuki Philippines Inc. has reached the production of its 3 millionth motorcycle unit since becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan-based Suzuki Motor Corporation in 1985, with the milestone marked by the release of the Suzuki Access Ride Connect Edition.
The achievement reflects decades of motorcycle manufacturing in the Philippines and continued consumer demand across commuting, business and leisure segments.
The Suzuki Access is a 125cc scooter that combines practicality, comfort, and efficiency. Featuring a rider-friendly design, sleek styling and responsive performance, the scooter delivers reliable city commuting with strong fuel efficiency and acceleration.
Suzuki motorcycles have been used by generations of Filipino riders, with the company expanding its lineup over the years through backbone models, underbone motorcycles, scooters and big bikes. Suzuki said these products have supported both personal mobility and small business operations nationwide.
The company also recently introduced the V-STROM 160 and DR160 as part of its continuing expansion.
Suzuki Philippines also credited its employees, engineers and production teams for helping the company reach the milestone. It said its manufacturing operations continue to follow Japanese production standards focused on precision, efficiency and reliability.
