Suzuki Philippines has unveiled the latest addition to its local scooter lineup, the all-new Suzuki Avenis.

The sporty scooter looks sharp and edgy with its “muscular” headlight with air duct, split-type tail lamps, and a two-tone seat cover.

Complementing the overall look are its lightweight muffler cover and grab bar, as well as the three-dimensional meter visor.

It also has a full digital instrument panel with eco drive, change oil, and battery voltage indicators, as well as a digital clock, fuel gauge, fuel consumption meter, and dual trip meter.

The Avenis has a 1L lidded glove box at the front that can carry 0.5kg of load (with a USB charger for convenience) and a 21.8-liter underseat compartment with a loading capacity of 10kg. It also comes with hooks that can hold baggage weighing up to 1.5kg.

Powering the Avenis is a 4-stroke, single-cylinder 125cc fuel-injected Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine that’s mated to a continuously variable transmission. According to World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) figures, this scooter can do about 54kpL.

Providing stopping power is the front disc brake with combined brake system.

For safety and convenience, the all-new Suzuki Avenis is equipped with an external hinge type fuel cap (convenient for refueling and deters theft and misplacing of cap), a side stand interlock, brake lock system, integrated engine start and kill switch, and one-push central locking.

The Suzuki Avenis is available in Metallic Matte Black, Pearl Mirage White, and Pearl Blaze Orange for an introductory price of P77,900.
