Ayala Malls leads the pickleball craze in the Philippines by introducing a dynamic new lifestyle concept: Ayala Malls PickleMall, Pickleball at Ayala Malls.
This concept brings pickleball straight to Ayala Malls’ chain of centers with hopes of helping boost the growth of the sport.
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played on a smaller court with a perforated plastic ball.
This move transforms Ayala Malls from a mere shopping destination into a hub for an active and healthier lifestyle, nurturing vibrant communities in the process.
To kick off the campaign, Ayala Malls hosted a thrilling Pickleball match between its Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel De Ayala and Lizzie Zobel De Ayala as well as the younger generation Zobels, Mariana Zobel De Ayala and Jaime Alfonso Zobel De Ayala. This friendly yet competitive showdown was held last October 6 at the Greenbelt Fashion Walk.
Market! Market! has taken the lead by becoming one of the first malls in the Philippines to feature a permanent Pickleball court, located at Playzone (near Starbucks). Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the court is for the exclusive use of Market! Market! Pickleball Club members.
