Sony adds the Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds to its acclaimed 1000X line, featuring real-time audio processors, high-performance mics, and a specially designed Dynamic Driver X unit.
Sony equipped the WF-1000XM5 with three microphones on each earbud, including dual feedback mics to boost low-frequency cancellation performance.
The Integrated Processor V2 and HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN2e work together to deliver excellent noise-canceling quality, while the Noise Isolation Earbud Tips feature a unique polyurethane foam material that reduces noise in the high frequency range.
The WF-1000XM5 also comes with new Dynamic Driver X drivers for “wide frequency reproduction, deep bass, and clear vocals.”
For calls, bone conduction sensors and Precise Voice Pickup will make sure that your voice is heard, even if you’re in a noisy environment.
The earbuds have a glossy texture and are approximately 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the WF-1000XM4, making them more comfortable to wear for extended periods. Included in the box are four different sizes of tips so you can choose the perfect fit for your ears.
Other features include high-resolution audio support, spatial audio support, IPX4 water-resistance, up to 8 hours of battery life, and wireless charging.
The WF-1000XM5 is now available for pre-order at P16,999 through select Sony Authorized Dealers nationwide and on Lazada and Shopee until August 24. All pre-orders come with a free wireless charger.
