Smart has launched the first prepaid eSIM in the Philippines, allowing owners of eSIM-capable devices to use an embedded or digital SIM card without being tied to a monthly mobile plan.
The eSIM—compatible with the latest iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S23 series, several flagship phones, and select tablets and smartwatches—is available for P99 on the Smart Online Store, Lazada, and Shopee.
The eSIM comes with 21GB of free data and calls and texts to all networks for seven days. You can claim this by activating and registering your SIM, and downloading the Smart GigaLife App to manage your prepaid account.
Here’s how to activate your Smart Prepaid eSIM:
1. Go to your device settings.
a. For iOS, select Cellular and Add Cellular Plan.
b. For Android, select SIM Card Manager and Add Mobile Plan.
2. Scan the QR code and follow the activation steps.
3. Register your eSIM here to get your free 5GB data.
4. Download the GigaLife app from your Apple AppStore or the Google Play Store to receive your free 16GB data.
