The bustling Legazpi Underpass in Makati City was recently transformed into an immersive digital art gallery, thanks to a collaboration between Samsung and Fotomoto PH, an organization of visionary Filipino photographers and artists.
“Fotomoto: Beneath the Streets,” part of the 10 Days of Art 2025 exhibition, showcased the diverse and compelling works of hundreds of Filipino photographers who have contributed to Fotomoto’s showcases over the past five years.
Samsung’s The Frame lifestyle TV served as the digital canvas, bringing the images to life with remarkable detail and clarity. The underpass, connecting Greenbelt and Ayala Triangle Gardens, became a vibrant space where art and technology seamlessly merged.
The Frame’s innovative features played a crucial role in creating the gallery-like experience. Its Premium Matte Display with Anti-Reflection technology eliminated glare, ensuring that every detail was visible. Customizable Orientation allowed for flexible display, while Art Mode transformed the TV into a stunning art piece when not in use.
The Fotomoto exhibit underscored Samsung’s commitment to redefining how people experience visual storytelling—whether in public spaces or in the comfort of their own homes.
This initiative is part of Samsung’s broader global efforts to champion art through technology. The company has previously held exhibitions in Basel, Switzerland, and forged partnerships with renowned institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
