The Galaxy Watch8 series builds on the cushion design first seen in the Galaxy Watch Ultra and introduces Samsung’s thinnest, most comfortable smartwatch yet, engineered for all-day wear and continuous health tracking. The reimagined design enhances comfort with a 30% improved component mounting capability and a Dynamic Lug system for a more secure, natural fit.
Both models feature a 3,000-nit display, longer battery life, and advanced and efficient tracking powered by a 3nm processor and dual-frequency GPS. The upgraded BioActive Sensor delivers more accurate health readings, offering detailed insights into sleep, stress, and cardiovascular health.
The Galaxy Watch8 series introduces several first-in-smartwatch features, including the Antioxidant Index to measure carotenoid levels in five seconds, Vascular Load to monitor sleep-related stress on the vascular system, and AI-powered Energy Score that tracks physical and mental energy. Other tools include Bedtime Guidance, Running Coach, and High Stress Alert with guided breathing via Mindfulness Tracker.
The Galaxy Watch8 series is the first smartwatch to come out of the box with Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, and be powered by Wear OS 6. This allows users to perform tasks via natural voice commands—from launching workouts to messaging friends. Meanwhile, the new One UI 8 Watch introduces improved navigation, Multi-Info Tiles, and the Now Bar for streamlined interaction.
The Galaxy Watch8 features a sleek, minimalist design and is offered in 44mm and 40mm sizes and two colorways: Graphite and Silver. The Galaxy Watch8 Classic, on the other hand, adds a touch of timeless elegance with its signature rotating bezel and quick access button. It comes in a 46mm size and is available in Black or White. Both models can be customized with a variety of stylish bands to match any lifestyle.
Pre-orders are now open until July 31, with general availability starting August 1.
