Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy A series smartphones—the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G—featuring for the first time “Awesome Intelligence,” which brings AI-powered features to the mid-range lineup.
The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G bring intuitive AI features directly to users. With One UI 7.0, tasks like searching and capturing visuals become effortless. The enhanced Circle to Search now streamlines information retrieval, recognizing key details like phone numbers and web links with a single tap. Music identification is also simplified, allowing users to instantly discover song titles and artists without switching apps.
The Galaxy A series is equipped with a powerful triple-camera system featuring a 50MP main lens on all devices, 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP front shooter. The Galaxy A56 5G comes with a 12MP ultrawide lens at the back, while the A36 5G gets an 8MP ultrawide.
The Galaxy A56 5G features ‘Best Face,’ a tool that combines the best expressions from motion photos, ensuring everyone looks their best, even if they blinked or looked away. The A56 5G also brings enhancements to low-light photography with ‘Nightography,’ with Low Noise Mode for its 12MP selfie camera and improved wide camera capabilities.
Meanwhile, both phones feature Object Eraser that lets you effortlessly remove distractions from your photos. Whether it’s a stray object or an unwanted shadow, a few taps are all it takes to achieve a clean, polished image.
The phones feature 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with 1200 nits brightness, 5,000mAh batteries with 45W charging power and Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology, and IP67 dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy A56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset while the Galaxy A36 5G features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform. A larger vapor chamber in both devices helps sustain performance.
You can count on these new Galaxy A phones to last, with Samsung offering up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates. The devices also feature an IP67 dust and water resistance rating and Gorilla Glass Victus+.
