Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A27 5G, its latest mid-range smartphone featuring upgraded AI capabilities, improved performance, and a refreshed design.
The Galaxy A27 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing. It also adopts an upgraded Infinity-O display with a discreet punch-hole camera and slimmer, more balanced bezels. Despite the larger screen, the phone maintains a slim 7.8mm profile.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, delivering faster app switching, smoother gaming and streaming, and improved power efficiency. Samsung also upgraded the front camera to 12MP so you can capture more natural-looking selfies with better brightness and richer colors across different lighting conditions.
The Galaxy A27 5G expands Samsung’s AI capabilities with enhanced Circle to Search with Google, which now recognizes multiple objects in a single image and even enables virtual outfit try-ons from search results. Object Eraser has also been refined for cleaner photo edits, while Voice Transcription can now translate as it transcribes in 22 languages.
You can also choose between AI assistants including Google Gemini and Perplexity, while Bixby now functions as a conversational device agent for natural language control.

Samsung is also promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, alongside six years of security updates. Built on Samsung Knox with Knox Vault protection, the phone offers enhanced security for sensitive data.
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G will be available on July 10 via samsung.com, Samsung Experience and Authorized Stores, and Samsung Flagship stores on Lazada and Shopee. It will be priced at P18,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant and P21,990 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
Buyers who purchase until September 15 can enjoy savings of up to P3,639, including a P1,500 discount, a free travel adapter, and a Jisulife fan. Samsung Care+ is also available for added device protection.
