One effective way to build healthy habits is to start small and be consistent. Choosing an activity you enjoy and doing it daily for two months can transform it into an automatic routine.

Running, for example, offers numerous physical and mental benefits and has seen a surge in popularity. Joining a run club can also provide motivation and support.

This year, runners can make their steps count even more by participating in the GCash Eco Run on March 23 along Ayala Avenue in Makati.

This event offers distances for all fitness levels—from 3K and 5K (open to ages 13 and up, with younger children welcome with a parent/guardian) to 10K (open to ages 16 and up).

In partnership with Silliman University, the GCash Eco Run will plant a grey mangrove tree in Negros Occidental for every participant. GCash will then double the impact by planting an additional tree for every tree planted.

Registration is open until March 22 via the GCash app, but if you register on or before February 28, you can get P150 off with the promo code GCASHRUNTAYO. Participants will also receive a GForest Tree Certificate on event day. For more details, visit this link.
