Xiaomi is giving Filipino consumers another affordable smartwatch option with the launch of the REDMI Watch 6 Active.
Priced at P2,599, the new wearable packs fitness and health tracking, Bluetooth calling, and up to 18 days of battery life into a device designed for everyday use.
The REDMI Watch 6 Active features a 1.85-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 resolution and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. It also supports an Always-On Display and comes with a redesigned flat-edge frame measuring 9.9mm thick.
For health and fitness tracking, the smartwatch offers 24/7 heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, and all-day stress monitoring with guided breathing recommendations. It also carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water, making it suitable for workouts and everyday outdoor activities.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth calling, allowing users to answer calls directly from the watch when paired with a smartphone.
A 470mAh battery provides up to 18 days of use under light usage and up to 12 days under typical daily use.
The REDMI Watch 6 Active is available online through Xiaomi’s official online store and Shopee from August 21 to 30, with early buyers receiving a free limited strap while supplies last. It will expand to all official Xiaomi e-commerce stores on August 31, followed by authorized retail stores nationwide starting September 15.
