realme is gearing up to unveil its latest Number Series lineup, the realme 16 Series 5G, promising a blend of tactile materials, refined aesthetics, and upgraded portrait photography.

Central to the new lineup’s design update is the Urban Wild Design, developed in collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The concept merges natural textures with modern urban styling.

Leading the series is the realme 16 Pro+ 5G in Master Gold, inspired by sunlit wheat fields, followed by the 16 Pro 5G in Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple variants.

The Pro+ model features a bio-based silicone back panel derived from plant-based straw, offering durability with a soft, polished finish resistant to dirt and wear.

The standard realme 16 5G, on the other hand, adopts a minimalist “Air” design in White and Black, distinguished by a horizontal camera strip that integrates a selfie mirror beside the main lens.

Photography remains a headline feature of realme’s latest series. It introduces a 200MP OIS main camera, with the Pro+ variant equipped with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP front camera. It also debuts a TÜV Rheinland-certified LumaColor Image Camera for enhanced color accuracy and natural skin tones.

The realme 16 Pro 5G features a 200MP OIS main and 8MP ultrawide, while the realme 16 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX852 main rear camera and a 50MP front camera.

The realme 16 Series 5G will officially launch in the Philippines on April 23 at 5.30pm via a livestream on the realme official Facebook channel.
