Race smart and in style with this EDIFICE x MUGEN timepiece

Heads up, car enthusiasts and watch aficionados! Brace yourselves for a remarkable fusion of speed and style as Casio unveils a timepiece that powerfully evokes the valiant racing spirit of MUGEN, the developer and manufacturer of racing engines and aftermarket parts for Honda cars.

The new ECB-40MU is the first collaboration between MUGEN, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and EDIFICE, a line of Casio timepieces that embodies the motorsports worldview. The latest limited collection will be launched in September.

EDIFICE is committed to continue bringing dynamic watch designs combined with cutting-edge technology to people,” said Tony Yiu, General Manager of CSC Time, Inc., the official distributor of Casio Timepieces in the Philippines.

The MUGEN brand colors of white, red, gold, and black are featured on the design set against an overall black design.

The watchcase is made from carbon fiber-reinforced resin and features a unique design inspired by a formula car suspension with lugs configured in a four-arm arrangement.

Together with the MUGEN brand logo, the Eye Commander logo symbolizing the spirit of MUGEN is embossed on the band.

The band is made of Alcantara, a material used in sports car interiors for its excellent durability and breathability.

The watch is equipped with a Mobile Link feature so you can easily pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing automatic time correction and easy configuration of various functions from the app, including world time.

It also comes with other practical features, including a Schedule Timer that syncs with your smartphone’s calendar app to display the start and end times of a scheduled activity on the watch LCD.

The EDIFICE ECB-40MU will be available in authorized Casio stores nationwide this September and will be priced at P24,950.
