For Emmylou O., a savings account opened at a PSBank branch beside her workplace in Putatan, Muntinlupa, more than 28 years ago became the start of a relationship that would span generations.
Over the years, PSBank supported her through major financial milestones, including financing for a car and a home. When her daughter recently got married, Emmylou passed on a simple piece of advice: start the newlyweds’ financial journey with PSBank.
Her story is part of PSBank’s 66-year history of evolving alongside Filipino families—from traditional passbooks and branch banking to ATMs, debit cards, and mobile banking.

Founded in 1959 and opening its first branch in Plaza Miranda, Quiapo, in 1960, PSBank now has 250 branches and more than 500 ATMs nationwide, alongside digital services designed to make everyday banking more accessible.
“Being a partner through generations means evolving with our customers as their lives, needs, and aspirations change. We want to make banking more accessible, convenient, and responsive, while staying true to what PSBank has always stood for: being Simple at Maaasahan. Because what we do today can help create possibilities for tomorrow—and for the generations that follow,” PSBank President Jose Vicente Alde said.
InstaPay transfers are now free, while customers can open a PSBank account through the PSBank Mobile app using one valid ID, with no minimum deposit or maintaining balance.
For major purchases, PSBank says its Auto Loan can provide credit decisions within 24 hours, while Home Loan applications can receive decisions within one day.
The bank has also continued expanding PSBank Mobile’s features and 24/7 Customer Experience support, combining digital convenience with human assistance.
As banking continues to change, PSBank says its focus remains on being a reliable financial partner—from a first savings account to a first home and, ultimately, across generations.
