POCO has launched the latest entries to its M series of phones: the POCO M5 and POCO M5s.
Aimed at “entertainment-hungry users,” the M5 is imagined for those who enjoy gaming, while the M5s offers an all-around entertainment experience as it balances camera, audio-visual, and battery needs.
POCO M5
If you’re after a smooth gaming experience, consider the POCO M5. It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, which is built on a flagship-level 6nm manufacturing process. The powerful chipset includes an octa-core CPU, with two high-performance Cortex-A76 clocking up to 2.2GHz, along with an Arm Mali G57 GPU for advanced 3D graphics.
To support steady gameplay, POCO equipped it with Game Turbo 5.0, which intelligently controls and optimizes the CPU, GPU, and memory.
Other features include a 6.58-inch Full HD+ DotDrop display with a 90Hz DynamicSwitch display and 240Hz touch sampling rate, triple rear camera (50MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP macro), and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
POCO M5s
If gaming is not your priority, check out the POCO M5s, which offers a quad rear camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro) and can record 4K videos at 30fps. It also has a 13MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
The M5s comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED DotDisplay, dual speakers, DC Dimming and 360° ambient light sensors, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 and comes with 4 or 6GB RAM.

POCO M5 comes in black, green, and yellow, and is available in two variants:
- 4GB+64GB: P9,499
- 6GB+128GB: P10,499
It’s available for purchase at an early bird price of P7,399 and P8,799, respectively, from September 7 via Lazada.
Meanwhile, the POCO M5s comes in grey, white, and blue, and is available in two variants:
- 4GB+64GB: P9,999
- 6GB+128GB: P10,899
