Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA recently led several Responsible Business initiatives in its local community alongside Deborah Haines, Senior Director Operations Southeast Asia, to spread Christmas joy.
The first event involved a Linen Donation and Feeding Activity at the Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) Reception and Study Center for Children—an orphanage housing 49 children aged 0-11. The hotel provided toys, plushies, and school supplies to bring happiness and hope to the children.
This was followed by a Pillow Donation at the Women’s Correctional in Camp Karingal, Quezon City. This donation will allow persons deprived of liberty (PDL) to repurpose the pillow fiberfill for toy stuffing and other crafting activities to contribute to their skill development.
Continuing their mission, the team organized a Linen Donation at Barangay Sto. Cristo Women’s Livelihood Center. The donated linens will be used for making pillowcases, uniforms, and tote bags.
