After a wave of high-intensity national qualifiers that energized student gaming communities across Southeast Asia, the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series is set to culminate in a regional grand final at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Selangor, Malaysia.
Set from April 16 to 19, the tournament marks a record-breaking milestone, offering the largest prize pool ever for a campus-focused Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) competition hosted by a brand. With a total prize pool of US$100,000—nearly double last year’s US$52,000—the event has already attracted more than 1,400 team registrations from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Top teams from each country will compete in the finals after emerging victorious from fiercely contested national rounds. Representing the Philippines are the NU Bulldogs, known for their collegiate championship streak, and the FAITH Colleges Bravehearts, a team with professional-level experience from the MDL Philippines circuit.
Indonesia will field Little Pikaa and Semangka, who rose above a field of 476 teams. Singapore’s contenders include TKP, recognized for strong fundamentals and team synergy, and Clarity Gaming, a squad shaped under Coach Simple. Host nation Malaysia will be represented by KPTM x Velocity, a team that evolved from casual campus play into a national champion.
Powering the competition is the OPPO Reno15 Series, the tournament’s official device. Designed for high-performance gaming, it features a 120fps display, advanced VC Cooling system, a 6500mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for stable connectivity.
The grand finals will also feature appearances by Malaysian MLBB personalities Soloz and Feekz, alongside interactive activities, meet-and-greets, and exclusive giveaways, promising a full esports spectacle for fans across the region.
