The OPPO A77s and A17k are great stocking stuffers. Here’s why

OPPO recently launched three new additions to its A Series of smartphones: the absolutely stylish and powerful A77s, and the more budget-friendly A17k and A17.

The OPPO A17 was the first to be made available in the market, and now, both the OPPO A77s and OPPO A17k are also up for grabs in all OPPO brand stores and partner dealers nationwide.

OPPO A77s

The ultra-slim and wear-resistant OPPO A77s comes in two colors: Sunset Orange, which showcases the industry’s first fiberglass-leather rear cover, and Starry Black, which features the OPPO Glow design.

But the OPPO A77s is definitely more than its stylish exterior. This phone is also powerful and fast thanks to its efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. This chip offers a smooth performance even with multiple apps open. Aiding the SD 680 is the 8GB RAM with OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, which can convert up to 5GB of unused storage to virtual RAM.

OPPO A17k

On a limited budget? You can still get a good daily driver for under P6,000 courtesy of the OPPO A17k. This entry-level device is equipped with a huge 5000mAh battery to power through the whole day.

Under the hood of the OPPO A17k is a fast and efficient Mediatek Helio G35 octa-core chip that’s paired with 3GB RAM. Like the other new A Series devices, this one has a RAM Expansion feature that delivers up to 4GB of additional RAM. It’s also built with a decent 64GB internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card (it can accommodate up to 1TB!). 

OPPO also equipped the OPPO A17k with an 8MP main camera, a 5MP front shooter, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a tough body that’s IPX4 water-resistant and surpassed various tests, such as high temperature, high humidity resistance, and 10cm micro-drop, among others.

Both the OPPO A77s and OPPO A17k are now available in all OPPO brand stores and partner dealers. The OPPO A77s, which comes in Sunset Orange and Starry Black, is priced at P13,999. Meanwhile, the OPPO A17k, which comes in Gold and Navy Blue, is priced at P5,999.
