nubia has expanded its Neo 5 smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the launch of the nubia Neo 5 Max and nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition—two gaming-focused devices aimed at users with different entertainment and performance needs.
Available as part of the brand’s #NEOVerseMaxOut campaign from August 1 to 8, the new smartphones target gamers looking for either a larger display for entertainment or enhanced performance for competitive play.
The Neo 5 Max, priced at P19,999, is designed for users who prioritize screen size and battery life. It features a 7.5-inch display, a 7100mAh dual-cell battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, and gaming features such as Neo Triggers 5.0 and an advanced cooling system. It also includes AI productivity tools and carries an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating.
Meanwhile, the Neo 5 GT Special Edition (P26,999) is geared toward competitive mobile gaming. It features a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek D7400 processor, active liquid-and-air cooling system, bypass charging, up to 24GB Dynamic RAM, 80W fast charging, and 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 that deliver sub-5.5ms hardware latency.
The device also comes with a 50MP AI dual rear camera, IP64 protection, and five years of software updates.
As part of the launch promotion, customers who purchase either smartphone from Aug. 1 to 8 will receive a free three-month VIU Premium subscription while promo stocks last. nubia is also offering a “Buy 1, Get Up to 5 Freebies” promotion during the campaign period.
