nubia has introduced the NEO 5 Series, a new lineup of smartphones designed to deliver high-performance mobile gaming at more accessible price points. Built around the campaign “Born To Win,” the series focuses on speed, control, and reliability for both gaming and everyday use.
Built on engineering inspired by REDMAGIC Lab, nubia brings gaming-focused technologies typically found in premium devices into the mid-range segment. The approach aims to provide more users with access to features designed for sustained performance and competitive play.
Across the lineup, the NEO 5 Series includes several hardware and software features tailored for gaming. The 6.8-inch displays support refresh rates of up to 144Hz for smoother visuals and improved responsiveness. Thermal management is handled through advanced cooling systems, including VC cooling and a built-in cooling fan on select models, allowing devices to maintain performance during extended sessions.
The devices are also equipped with gaming shoulder triggers for more precise control, as well as large batteries of up to 6210mAh with fast charging support.
On the software side, nubia integrates AI Game Space and the Demi AI companion to help optimize gameplay and assist users in real time.
The NEO 5 Series consists of three models. The nubia NEO 5 5G serves as the entry-level option, offering a high refresh rate display, 6050mAh battery, and essential performance features for everyday gaming.
The nubia NEO 5 Pro 5G builds on this with improved processing power (Unisoc T9100) and enhanced display quality for more demanding applications.
At the top of the lineup, the nubia NEO 5 GT 5G combines advanced cooling, shoulder triggers, and high refresh rate visuals to support sustained and responsive performance during competitive gameplay. It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400, and comes with a 6210mAh battery.
While designed for gaming, the devices are also positioned for general use, including multitasking, content consumption, and productivity. The series features capable processors, generous RAM configurations, and optimized software to ensure smooth performance across applications.
