To celebrate the release of the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s bestselling manga One Piece, Netflix will be hosting 10 fan celebrations and screenings across the globe ahead of the series premiere on August 31.
The journey kicks off in Los Angeles at the Santa Monica Pier on August 24, where fans are invited to dress as their favorite Straw Hat crew. They will also have an exclusive look at the first episode of Season 1.
In the Philippines, the ‘Straw Hats Unite: Our Journey To The Grand Line’ will be held on August 30 in Taguig.
Based on Japan’s highest-selling manga series in history, One Piece is a legendary high-seas adventure that follows Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) on his pirate adventures with his crew of Straw Hats: Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. Luffy sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, One Piece, to become King of the Pirates.
