No more papers, missing lab results, or retelling your medical history at every clinic visit. With the newly launched mWell Health ID, Filipinos can now take control of their health records in one secure, digital passport—accessible anytime through the mWell app.

The mWell Health ID, developed by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation’s (MPIC) digital healthcare arm, is the country’s first fully digital health identity.

It stores vital health information such as lab results, prescriptions, vaccination records, allergies, and emergency contacts, all protected with built-in consent and privacy controls. Patients can share their records with doctors, hospitals, and partner clinics instantly—no paperwork required.

By eliminating repetitive forms and making past diagnoses, prescriptions, and test results readily available, the Health ID ensures seamless care across the mWell ecosystem. It also helps reduce duplicate testing, giving doctors a more complete picture for accurate treatment decisions.

The launch of the Health ID is aligned with the Universal Health Care Act (Republic Act 11223), which seeks to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all.

By enabling secure and seamless data sharing, the Health ID directly addresses one of the healthcare system’s biggest gaps: the lack of coordination caused by paper-based files and a fragmented patient record system.

With its acquisition and integration of KonsultaMD, mWell also offers 24/7 teleconsultations with thousands of doctors nationwide, e-prescriptions, and digital lab referrals. The ecosystem also extends to hospitals and clinics via the mWell HealthSuite, mobile care through mWell OnTheGo Clinic-In-A-Bag, drone medicine delivery to isolated islands, and telemedicine via BangkaHealth, which caters to houses on stilts in Sulu via small boats.
