Home improvement retailer MR.DIY recently launched its Acts of Kindness (A-OK) campaign for 2023, reaffirming its commitment to serve and spread goodwill to its communities.

For this year, the retailer has onboarded two major partners: ABS-CBN’s Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation and TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation.

It also renewed its partnership with World Vision, SOS Children’s Villages, and GOM Football Center for Excellence.

A-OK is the overarching corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of MR.DIY, where the retailer enables and empowers communities. The program has its roots in the Good Bag Campaign, where proceeds from the purchase of MR.DIY eco-bags nationwide are eventually donated to its NGO partners.

The success of the Good Bag Campaign in 2021 inspired the company to level up its CSR program into the A-OK campaign, which focuses on four key pillars: family welfare, preservation and protection of the environment, youth and education, and disaster preparedness.

MR.DIY opened its first store in Balagtas, Bulacan in 2018. As of press time, they have 348 stores nationwide, the newest of which is the recently opened Fairview Center Mall branch.

“We look forward to working with our incredible partners to bring our visions to life. We’re confident that these renewed engagements will enable us to better listen to and focus on our communities—to take care of them through effective programs,” MR.DIY CEO Roselle Marisol Andaya said.
