Mitsubishi showcases XFC Concept, teases upcoming compact SUV

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) showcased the five-seater Mitsubishi XFC Concept last June 16 to 18 at the Newport Mall.

The next-gen compact SUV concept, which was premiered in Vietnam in October 2022, highlights a powerful and imposing design that gives it a sleek and sporty profile. Mitsubishi’s iconic Dynamic Shield concept was integrated to the new exterior to create yet another unique design that expresses both performance and protection.

Its interior offers ease of operation and comfort with its horizontally themed design instrumental panel. Despite being a compact SUV, the design comes with a spacious cabin area and ample cargo space providing first-class comfort and convenience to both driver and passengers.

According to MMPC, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept will be the basis of a new compact 5-seater SUV that MMPC will introduce to the market soon.

The Mitsubishi XFC Concept is just one of the many upcoming products that MMPC will introduce to the Philippines market in the coming years. “Today, we are excited to share and showcase the concept design that will define the future of the Mitsubishi Motors brand. And to further beef up our product line-up, we are introducing five new models in the next five years,” MMPC President & CEO Takeshi Hara said during the special launch program.
