Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is set to officially launch the new Xpander in May, but starting March 5, interested customers can already reserve a unit at Mitsubishi’s official website.

The 7-seater, which was locally introduced in 2018, is the company’s bestselling model. Last year, it accounted for 54.40% share of the market.

The new Xpander, first seen in Indonesia, features the following:

  • Refreshed exterior. There’s a new signature T-Shape head and tail lights, redesigned horizontal front bumper, larger 17-inch wheels, and side sills.
  • Refined interior quality. There’s a new dashboard design, soft padding accents, and a 7-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Enhanced utility and drivability. Expect a flatter and more comfortable ride thanks to the addition of high-performance valves in the front and rear suspension while still keeping its best-in class ground clearance of 225mm.

The new Xpander will be available in five color options including the new Blade Silver Metallic. It will retail for a starting price of P1,030,000.
