Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) made an electrified debut at the 18th Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) by previewing the well-decorated IONIQ 6.

According to HMPH, the “Electrified Streamliner” is set to be launched by mid-2023 for around P4 million.

Currently, the IONIQ 5 is already on retail for P3,068,000 (2WD Standard Range) and P3,698,000, (2WD Long Range) and is being offered with a 5-year/200,000km vehicle warranty, 8-year/160,000km battery warranty, and free preventive maintenance service (PMS) for five years or 75,000km, whichever comes first. The installation of a 7.4KWh AC wall charger also comes standard with every purchase.

HMPH also revealed that they will soon launch a Vehicle-to-Vehicle or V2V Service, wherein the IONIQ 5 will be utilized for mobile charging.

Similar to a roadside emergency assistance, there will be a hotline that Filipino customers can call for assistance. It will first be rolled in the National Capital Region with the charging process taking as little as 4 minutes to produce 7kWh or about 20 to 30 kilometers of extra range.
