Apple unveiled three new chips at its recent “Scary Fast” event: the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max, built using a 3-nanometer process and feature a next-generation GPU with Dynamic Caching for improved graphics performance.

The M3 family of chips features a next-generation GPU that is faster and more efficient, and introduces a new technology called Dynamic Caching, which allocates the use of local memory in hardware in real time. It also brings with it new rendering features, such as hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading.

The M3 is available in the 14-inch MacBook Pro, while the M3 Pro and M3 Max are available in both the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro. The higher-end models will also feature a new Space Black aluminum finish. 

All MacBook Pros are equipped with Liquid Retina Display, a built-in 1080p webcam, a six-speaker sound system, versatile connectivity options, and up to 22 hours of battery life.

Here are the prices of the new MacBook Pros with M3 chips:

  • 14-inch MacBook Pro (M3): from P104,990
  • 14-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Pro): from P129,990
  • 14-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Max): from P201,990
  • 16-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Pro): from P159,990
  • 16-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Max): from P219,990

Meanwhile, the new M3-powered 24-inch iMac retain their colorful chassis, 4.5K Retina display, and 1080p webcam. It also boasts of advanced connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, up to four USB-C ports (including two Thunderbolt), and support for Gigabit Ethernet standard on select models.
