While transparent display prototypes have teased us at CES for years, LG is stepping up the game by actually bringing a transparent OLED TV to the market this year.

The exact release date and price tag remain unknown for now, but LG has confirmed that the LG Signature OLED T is a real, bonafide product that will join the ranks of the brand’s Signature series.

This see-through spectacle combines a transparent 4K OLED screen and LG’s wireless video and audio transmission technology to transform the screen experience in ways that have never been possible before. This is complemented by the class-leading picture quality and performance of LG OLED, powered by the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor.

The LG Signature OLED T breaks free from the traditional black screen, seamlessly blending into your home décor with its innovative transparent display. When turned off, it becomes practically invisible, creating a sense of openness and making your space feel larger.

You can position the TV in the center of the room as a divider or prop it against a window without blocking the view. Better yet the Zero Connect Box that leverages LG’s cutting-edge wireless transmission technology to send 4K images and sound to the OLED T, allows you to place the TV anywhere, irrespective of the location of electrical outlets.

The 77-inch TV has an Always-On-Display feature, turning it into a digital display for photos, videos, or artwork to enhance your space. The T-Bar option adds a useful info-ticker at the bottom, showing news alerts or weather updates while keeping a clear view of what’s behind.
