Xiaomi 13 Pro MWC

Xiaomi latest flagship smartphones have finally been unveiled on the global stage.

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro—along with Xiaomi 13 Lite—at this year’s MWC in Barcelona, Spain.

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and feature fast 120Hz OLED displays with 1,900 nits of peak brightness and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch FHD+ flat screen that allows DC dimming, while the one on the 13 Pro is a 6.73-inch curved display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

As for optics, the 13 Pro is equipped with a Leica-branded triple camera setup on the back: 50MP f/1.9 main camera with a Type 1-inch sensor, a 50MP 3.2x telephoto with OIS and a floating lens, and a 50MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera. In front is a 32MP punch-hole selfie cam. 

The Leica-branded rear cameras on the Xiaomi 13 is composed of a 50MP f/1.8 OIS main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP 3.2x telephoto. It has the same selfie cam as the Pro variant.

The Xiaomi 13 starts at €999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro starts at €1,299 for the 12GB/256GB variant.

Xiaomi 13 Lite

Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which as its name suggests, is literally light at 171g. It’s also thin (7.23mm) but Xiaomi amazingly was able to pack a 4500mAh battery in that svelte form factor.

The 13 Lite has a 6.55-inch Full HD AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports Dolby Vision. It has two punch-hole cameras in front for a 32MP ultrawide-angle lens and an 8MP depth-sensing one.

Other features of the Xiaomi 13 Lite include a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro rear camera system, and 67W fast charging support. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 5G chipset and runs Android 12-based MIUI 14.
