Kia Philippines has brought the award-winning Kia EV3 to the local market, giving Filipino buyers a new compact electric SUV with a claimed 511-kilometer range and an introductory price of P1.868 million.
The 2025 World Car of the Year combines a futuristic exterior with practical features, including an evolved Digital Tiger Face, signature LED headlights, flush door handles, roof rails, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Powering the EV3 is a front-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor producing 201hp and 283Nm of torque. Its 58.3kWh lithium-ion battery delivers a claimed NEDC range of up to 511 kilometers on a single charge. Charging from 10% to 80% takes 5 hours and 20 minutes using an 11kW AC charger, while a 350kW DC fast charger can complete the same charge in 29 minutes.
Inside, the EV3 features leather upholstery, an 8-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, and a sliding console tray that can serve as a flexible workspace or storage area.
Its 30-inch Triple Panoramic display integrates the instrument cluster, infotainment screen, and climate-control display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual wireless charging pads, and five USB-C ports are also standard.
Safety features include Kia DriveWise technologies such as advanced smart cruise control, forward collision avoidance with autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping and following assist, blindspot safety warning, and rear cross traffic safety. Seven airbags and other electronic safety systems are standard.
The all-new Kia EV3 is available with an included wall charger at P1,898,000, but is currently offered at a special introductory price of P1,868,000 along with free five years of Preventive Maintenance Service until October 31.
The EV3 is backed by a 5-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty. Available exterior colors include Aventurine Green, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black, Terra Cotta, Frost Blue, Shale Grey, and Ivory Silver. Reservations start September 21, and unit deliveries will begin by October 1.
