KG Mobility—the South Korean auto brand formerly known as SsangYong—formally enters the Philippine market under the exclusive distributorship of The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI).

“The establishment of KG Mobility Philippines is yet another testament to the ongoing partnership between both The Philippines and Korea,” said Amb. Jose L. Cuisia Jr., Chairman of the board of TCCCI.

“The Covenant Car Company Inc. is very pleased to offer our discerning Filipino car buyers these innovative, safe, and modern automobiles from KG Mobility. We are optimistic that the local motoring public will respond positively to our portfolio of product offerings, and we are likewise eager to grow KGM PH into a household name for expertly crafted, reliable, Korean-made automobiles,” he added.

Retail sales are officially commencing this month, while the official brand launch will take place in the first quarter of 2024.

Here is the brand’s initial five-model product lineup:

  • Tivoli
  • Tivoli Grand
  • Torres
  • Rexton
  • Musso Grand

All vehicles come with a five-year/100,000km vehicle warranty and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance via KG Mobility Philippines’ customer support hotline.

KG Mobility Philippines’ nationwide dealership network is expected to rise to 12 independent dealer-partners by the end of 2024.

Throughout the rest of 2023, KG Mobility Philippines plans to boost its presence in the local auto market by organizing pop-up concept road shows in key business and lifestyle hubs in NCR. In 2024, there are plans to expand these pop-up concepts to cover a broader area to broaden the brand’s reach.
