Global cybersecurity leader Kaspersky has unveiled its new flagship product line, Kaspersky Next. This comprehensive solution combines robust endpoint protection with the powerful capabilities of EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and XDR (Extended Detection and Response).
Kaspersky Next offers three product tiers: Kaspersky Next EDR Foundations, Kaspersky Next EDR Optimum, and Kaspersky Next XDR Expert. Each tier caters to businesses of varying sizes, IT infrastructure complexities, and resource availability.
According to Enterprise Strategy Group’s XDR and SOC Modernization Report, businesses are still struggling to find information security tools that can detect and investigate advanced threats on time. Kaspersky Next addresses this challenge by offering businesses the tools they need to build strong cybersecurity frameworks.
In 2023, the Philippines faced significant vulnerability to cyberthreats, with 163,279 financial phishing attempts targeting corporations, the highest number in the region. Kaspersky also detected 1.5 million local threats, prevented 4.620 million brute-force attacks, and blocked 15,312 ransomware attacks aimed at Philippine businesses.
Kaspersky Next goes beyond traditional Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP) by integrating EDR and XDR capabilities. This allows businesses to achieve total visibility, control, rapid response, and proactive threat hunting, ultimately defending against advanced and evasive attacks.
Kaspersky Next is deployment-agnostic and allows for both cloud and on-premise installations. Management can be done through either a streamlined console for core tasks or an enterprise-grade console with advanced monitoring and granular controls.

Kaspersky Next currently comprises of three product tiers:
- Kaspersky Next EDR Foundations. Ideal for companies with IT departments managing information security. Offers powerful endpoint protection, flexible controls, and built-in IT scenarios.
- Kaspersky Next EDR Optimum: Designed for companies with small information security teams. Provides strong endpoint protection, essential EDR functionality, advanced controls, patch management, and cloud security.
- Kaspersky Next XDR Expert: The most comprehensive solution, suited for companies with experienced information security teams or SOCs. Aggregates data from various sources, offering real-time visibility, deep insights, advanced threat detection, and automated response. It also integrates with third-party vendors.
Kaspersky Next is a part of the company’s B2B product ecosystem and it is designed to be directly compatible with other Kaspersky solutions and services. With the growing demand for more comprehensive cybersecurity protection, companies can also easily migrate from one tier to another depending on their current cybersecurity requirements.
