The Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) has launched The JGFP Community, a nationwide initiative aimed at bringing together families, alumni, corporate partners, volunteers, and golf supporters to help expand opportunities for young Filipino golfers.
The program seeks to strengthen the network behind junior golf by encouraging broader community involvement beyond competition, with members contributing through volunteer work, partnerships, events, and advocacy while supporting the Foundation’s long-term development programs.
“Every young golfer’s journey begins with someone who chooses to believe in them. Our responsibility at JGFP is not only to develop great athletes, but to build a community that stands beside them every step of the way. The JGFP Community gives every family, alumnus, partner, and supporter the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Philippine golf,” said Oliver Gan, President, Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines.
Members of The JGFP Community will have access to partner privileges, exclusive events, volunteer opportunities, Foundation updates, and other initiatives designed to strengthen engagement among supporters while advancing junior golf across the country.
The initiative builds on decades of support from families, coaches, alumni, and corporate partners who have helped develop young golfers, providing them with a more structured platform to remain involved and contribute to future generations of athletes.
The launch is supported by SIGMA Ventures, whose partnership reflects a shared commitment to investing in youth development through community-driven programs.
The initiative was also developed in collaboration with Minotaur, JGFP’s strategic marketing and community-building partner, which helped design the platform to encourage participation and long-term engagement.
