Metro Manila is getting a splash of color as Infinix rolls out a series of public murals inspired by the new HOT 70 smartphone. Created by Filipino mural artists, the installations transform everyday spaces into large-scale artworks that celebrate creativity, individuality and self-expression through the device’s different color variants.
The campaign begins with a mural at Rumble Royale in Quezon City, inspired by the HOT 70’s Thermo Orange edition. The artwork was created by mural artist and content creator Hannah Seuton in collaboration with multimedia artist Bernadette Esther “Beri” Irasga, translating the vibrant personality of the colorway into a larger-than-life public installation.
“[This collaboration] was a truly dynamic creative process where we were able to build on each other’s ideas without overpowering one another, resulting in something that genuinely reflected both of our personalities,” said Seuton.
Irasga said the collaboration allowed both artists to combine their individual styles while working toward a shared vision.
“Our styles complement each other really well, so despite having our own creative perspectives, we shared a similar vision,” she said.
Other installations across the metro include one by illustrator and mural artist Marvin “MBacinillo” Bacinillo, inspired by the Green Texture variant, along EDSA in Makati, and another by Deafeye Studio, which interprets the Quiet Violet edition through a mural at Gateway Mall 1 in Cubao.
The murals coincide with the launch of the Infinix HOT 70, whose colorways served as creative references for each artwork. Leading the lineup is the Thermo Orange model, which features a back panel that changes shade depending on temperature using thermochromic ink technology. The Green Texture and Quiet Violet variants feature textured finishes designed to create changing light and shadow effects.
Those who spot the murals can take part in the HOT 70 Treasure Hunt, where participants who complete designated activities may receive prizes, including smartphones, exclusive merchandise and other rewards.
The Infinix HOT 70 is now available in six colors and four storage variants nationwide. Buyers can also enjoy exclusive benefits, including Google AI Plus with 2TB of cloud storage for three months and a free 12-month Viu Premium subscription, available for a limited time while supplies last.
