Infinix has officially unveiled the Infinix GT 20 Pro at a global launch event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The successor of the GT 10 Pro—which was not made available in the Philippines—is powered by a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate paired with a Mali G610 MC6 GPU, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The GT 20 Pro is the brand’s first dual-chip smartphone. Aside from improving picture quality, the Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming display chip uses Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) game frame rate interpolation to increase frame rates from 60fps to as high as 120fps for smoother gaming.

Other features of the phone include a 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED screen, a triple rear camera system with a 108MP Samsung HM6 primary sensor with OIS, a 32MP front shooter, a 5000mAh battery with 45W charging, and dual speakers tuned by JBL.

The GT 20 Pro comes with what Infinix calls a “Cyber Mecha Design” with a turbine blade pattern and a Mecha Loop LED interface with eight color combos and four lighting effects. It will be available in Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver.

Infinix also mentioned that the GT 20 Pro will be the official tournament phone for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Season 13. No word yet on when it will be launched in the Philippines.
