HUAWEI is making child safety smarter with the WATCH Kids X1, a connected wearable that helps parents stay informed while giving children the freedom to explore, learn, and play.
The device, set to officially launch in the Philippines on June 30, is now available with a special early promo price of P13,999.
Equipped with HUAWEI’s location service and support for GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, the smartwatch delivers near real-time location tracking through the HUAWEI FamCare app using Dual-band GNSS and Dual-band Wi-Fi.
For added peace of mind, the smartwatch offers customizable safe and danger zones, automatic School Guard notifications, and an SOS feature that calls family members with five presses of the side button.
HD video calls with AI noise cancellation and global cellular connectivity make it easy for families to stay in touch throughout the day.
The accompanying FamCare app offers a range of parental controls, including chat management, screen-time monitoring, battery alerts, unknown caller blocking, and a dedicated Class Mode that minimizes distractions during school hours.
The watch also features a PPG optical heart rate sensor that provides wellness insights through visual emotion indicators and long-term heart rate tracking. Parents can monitor this in the FamCare app’s “Growth” section, and review long-term health trends with daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly heart rate views.
Built with HUAWEI’s AI-powered Converged Positioning Algorithm 2.0, the device continuously improves location accuracy by learning a child’s frequently visited locations. It also encourages active lifestyles through step tracking, leaderboards, and peer interaction features.
The smartwatch, offered in Breezy Blue and Candy Pink, combines an industry-first 1.82-inch horizontal AMOLED display with a slim, comfortable design and a 360-degree rotating body. Kids can also capture photos and videos using a 5MP ultra-wide front camera and a 13MP rear HD camera with Night Mode and multi-frame noise reduction.
The WATCH Kids X1 packs 32GB of storage, One-Tap Photo Sharing, 40 watch faces, over 100 stickers, 14 filters, and six photo styles. Kids can also connect with fellow users through Shake to Add Friends, with all requests subject to parental approval.
It also features IPX8 and IPX9 (2 ATM) water resistance, an 850mAh battery with up to 32 hours of use, and fast charging that reaches 50% in just 20 minutes.
Starting June 23, customers can take advantage of exclusive early-bird vouchers via the HUAWEI Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop, where shoppers can claim a P2,000 Early Bird voucher.
