Huawei Philippines is set to launch on February 23 the Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch PaperMatte Edition—a tablet featuring an innovative PaperMatte display designed to reduce reflections, glares, and fingerprints.
The self-luminous layered display enhances visual depth and provides excellent eye protection. In fact, this tablet is the first to obtain both the SGS low visual fatigue premium performance certification and the TUV Rheinland Reflection-Free Certification for PaperMatte products.
The tablet’s LCD panel is crafted using a nano-level embedding process, delivering a paper-like viewing and writing experience. Paired with the Huawei M-Pencil 2nd Gen stylus, users can sketch, take notes, and express creativity with precision, thanks to 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt sensitivity, and low latency.
In addition, the screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 86% body-to-screen ratio, 2200×1440 resolution, and 420 nits max brightness.
Designed to cater to a wide range of users, the Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch PaperMatte Edition comes with a host of productivity-focused features.
It includes the exclusive PC version of the WPS 2.0 Office app that offers a desktop-like interface with support for keyboard and touchpad interactions, PDF editing, formula usage in spreadsheets, and remote collaboration. When connected to a mouse, it displays an arrow cursor for precise navigation. External keyboards can utilize common app and system shortcut keys for complex office tasks.
The PC-level WPS Office 2.0 introduces Cloud Collaboration for real-time document editing and communication among multiple users. Meanwhile, the enhanced Printing feature streamlines printing directly from the WPS Office app, eliminating the need for separate applications. The tablet also supports multi-window functionality for split-screen multitasking.
With quad speakers for immersive sound quality, a 13MP ultra HD rear camera, and an 8MP front camera with a 105-degree wide-angle lens, it ensures excellent photography and video conferencing capabilities.
The Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch PaperMatte Edition is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and backed by a 7700mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.
The tablet comes with a detachable Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard for a tactile typing experience with 1.5mm key travel. Additionally, users can utilize Huawei Notes, a professional note-taking app, for a paperless note-taking experience.
The tablet is priced at P24,999 and will be available in stores from February 23. Purchases made until March 23 will come with freebies valued at up to P18,996, including a Detachable HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil 2nd Gen, PC-Level WPS Office, and a one-year premium subscription to VIU.
