Five months after its unveiling in China, the HUAWEI Mate XT tri-fold phone has made its global debut. Boasting the thinnest foldable design at just 3.6mm and the largest foldable display at 10.2 inches when unfolded, the Mate XT pushes the boundaries of mobile technology.
The Mate XT features an Advanced Precision Hinge System and a 322cm ultra-thin glass (UTG). It’s the first phone capable of both inward and outward folding. This allows for a versatile user experience, seamlessly transitioning between horizontal and portrait browsing, and offering immersive full-screen and efficient split-screen modes.
The device comes with 16GB of RAM and a terabyte of storage. Despite its remarkably thin profile, the Mate XT houses a 5600mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The flexible LTPO OLED display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and measures 7.9 inches when folded once and 6.4 inches when fully collapsed. Fully unfurled, the display measures 10.2 inches.
The phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP main, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom. An 8MP front camera is also integrated into the expansive display.
