HONOR has officially unveiled the HONOR Robot Phone, a new flagship smartphone featuring a motorized mechanical gimbal that allows its camera to physically move. The category-creating device is also coming soon to the Philippines, although HONOR has yet to announce local pricing and availability details.

The Robot Phone features a 4DoF Titanium Agile Gimbal with more than 100 precision components and over 100 patents. HONOR says the system is 65% smaller than mainstream gimbals while offering 200% greater structural strength, with the gimbal motor capable of movement speeds of up to 360 degrees per second.

The device also marks the first product milestone from HONOR’s Cinematic Imaging Partnership with professional cinema camera maker ARRI. Its camera system includes a 200MP Agile Gimbal Main Camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

For video creators, the main camera supports 10-bit ARRI LogC3 recording in ARRI CINEMA mode, while the imaging system incorporates selected ARRI Image Science technologies, including ARRI Wide Gamut 3 and ARRI Looks.

The Robot Phone uses MagicOS to enable hands-free features such as AI Live-Tracking, gesture controls, and YOYO Robot Mode. Its moving camera can automatically pan and tilt to keep users in frame while recording videos, livestreaming, or making video calls.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and packs a 7060mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
